Alice Shroeder was an analyst at Morgan Stanley who really figured out how to value Berkshire Hathaway.

The authorised biography gives a great deal of insight into Buffett’s personal life.  Perhaps too much and a little too much conjecture, too.

Nonetheless, it is a must read as it provides the definitive guide to his development as an investor, businessman and leader.  It was written with his full co-operation.
